PLAYED FOR: Mel Torme, Chuck Berry, Jose Feliciano, Debbie Reynolds, Mary Ann Mobley and Gary Collins, the Mills Brothers, Florence Henderson, the Lennon Sisters, and the Miss California Pageant (twice).
MUSICALS & TV: 42nd Street, Evita, Peter Pan, Sophisticated Ladies, and The Tonight Show (15 times with Jose Feliciano).
PERFORMED IN: 16 foreign countries and 42 of the 50 United States.
BIGGEST THRILL: Conducting his own orchestra at the Hollywood Bowl, 1983.
